One of my husband's aunts sent me a 'treasure box', full of antique beads and beaded appliqués, from a grandmother or great aunt [she couldn't remember]. I had a great time going thru the box looking at all the old beads. Also inside the box was this little latch hook, which I think was used to pull lengths of beads to be used as fringe thru the center holes of beaded wood beads. There were a lot of fringed beads in the box. There are no marks on it, and my husband looked at it with a magnifying glass. It appears to be hand made. Very excellent craftsmanship.
