This is a simple hat, following my favorite pattern that uses esc [extended
single crochet]. I used Lion Brand's Fun Fur to make this and a Royal Blue
one for a friend who is going thru cancer treatments. I saw a hat made
of this yarn on a web site for hand knitters, so decided to make one in
crochet. I have it sitting on this skein of yarn cuz the only wig form
I have is black. :-) I love how this yarn works up, it's so
easy to use. After making your hat, turn inside out to get
the 'hair' effect. For the knitted version: http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/kpatt10.htm

Made this as a baby toy, which is why the features ae embroidered.

I used cotton 4 ply yarn, which makes a very soft toy.

Sunsuit for a 1 year old. I used fingering yarn and a pattern in the
Summer Baby Outfits pattern booklet, 1987, Annie's Attic, #87C50. All the
cute outfits in this booklet are made with fingering yarn, and in a stitch
that makes the finished outfit puffy and soft. I added the ribbon ties
as the baby I made this for tends to pull hats off her head. This booklet
has one outfit for boys, but one other could be modified for a boy [just
don't work the ruffle at the cuff of the pants or on the sleeves]. I made
the boy sunsuit set in 1995, and I made the girl's jumpsuit set in 1997.
Both were darling and worked up so fast. I didn't do the embroidery,
tho. I just sewed fabric ribbons to the areas that the embroidery was shown
on the patterns.

I made these to cover the Vialta Beamer, a video phone that works on
your phone line, not your computer. These covers are longer on the front
than the back, so they don't cover up the cords plugged into the back of
the unit, but on the front they cover up the video screen. To find out
more about these video phones, check out their home page: The
Beamer
