I loved this image, of the Hello Kitty as a bumble bee, so decided to make a set for my Avon lady's daughter.
She wants the pins every time I make her mom something, so I figured she needed something that was
just hers. Since the lip gloss I wanted to give her wouldnt fit into the standard covers I make, I decided to make
her an amulet bag. The strap is one piece, but I made a 'button hole' at one end and slipped it over the smilie button
that I sewed to the bag. I doubled the thread for the strap and worked it in peyote, using only 3 beads for each row.
It ended up very tight as I had to work every other row as a figure 8 in order to get the next row lined up right.

Supposed to be candy corn, but my husband said it looked like mountains so I sewed a treat bag
charm to the front of the pin.
