Near Kearney, Nebraska
This is a memorial bridge for the settlers. It's huge, and has a lot
of stuff to see inside. We didn't have time to stop, but it looks like
a neat place to visit if you have time, and kids who love history.

The Domes, Milwaukee, WI
This is dome 3, which is a 'theme' dome. One of the other domes has
plants that thrive in the dessert, another one has plants that thrive in
a rain forest. This one is changed for the holidays or seasons. I love
coming here. This time, they were celebrating kite flying, and other things
that move in the wind.
These are flags hanging from the top of the theme dome.

Kopps Custard, Milwaukee. The BEST frozen custard ever! There are a
couple frozen custard chains around the country, and we've tried them,
but they have a grainy taste to us. The closest I've found to Kopp's custard
is to take Haagen Daz, especially the Chocolate mousse, spoon some into
a dish, let it set for a half hour or so, just so it's soft but still cold,
then eat it quick before it melts completely. The texture and flavor is
pretty close to the custard you can get from Kopps. But you cant get the
flavors. Every day they have a different flavor of the day, and they have
a flavor of the month, along with the standard Swiss Chocolate and the
Vanilla. They also sell burgers [huge], hot dogs, fries/onion rings, chicken
sandwiches, etc.
